The brand
The new ordinary of the men's wardrobe
Why Monarch?
To meet an increasingly hybrid daily life, Monarque creates clothing that combines comfort, elegance and durability, all at an affordable price.
Aware of the dilemma between high-priced quality and the economical options of fast fashion, we want to offer you an alternative.
From design to delivery, every detail is designed to keep this promise. However, we ask that you wait approximately 15 days for receipt of your orders. In a world that moves at two hundred miles an hour, slowing down a little is a conscious choice for a more sustainable future!
Our story
At the heart of our story is Mauritius, where our roots are anchored. Far from being just an exotic paradise, it is also a preferred destination for brands seeking excellence in quality.
Inspired by this rich heritage and united by the desire to undertake and innovate while respecting our environment, we created Monarque. A brand that combines our strengths to offer premium clothing, adapted to our hybrid life.
It is together, Charles, Sura and Kendall, that we invite you to share our passion for excellence and our love for Mauritius.
Welcome aboard!
Our know-how
Our expertise lies in the perfect fusion of materials and innovations to meet the demanding criteria of workleisure.
We use exceptional Pima cotton, with an ultra-fine count of 36/1. This requirement allows us to weave iconic pieces with superior quality and unparalleled comfort.
By combining cotton with other high-performance fibres, we give our garments the essential characteristics of workleisure: stretch for total freedom, breathability and antibacterial treatment for long-lasting freshness, and blooming for a softness that caresses the skin from the first contact.
WHY PIMA COTTON?
Pima cotton, known for its exceptional quality, is at the heart of our choices for the manufacture of Monarque products. A choice guided by two distinctive characteristics:
Unmatched Robustness
Pima cotton is distinguished by its strength, far surpassing that of ordinary cotton. This exceptional strength gives our products remarkable resilience. Thanks to its long fibers, Pima cotton effectively resists pulling, breaking and tearing, ensuring optimal durability and shape retention for clothes that last longer.
Exquisite Sweetness
Pima cotton's softness isn't just a coincidence; it's intrinsic to its long, silky fiber. This characteristic translates into smoother, cleaner yarns, resulting in an exceptionally soft fabric that resists pilling.
By choosing Pima cotton grown in the United States, Monarque is committed to offering not only superior quality but also a unique sensory experience.
AND AT THE LEVEL OF THE CUTS
We have chosen straight cuts, neither too tight nor too loose, which harmoniously hug the shapes; carefully designed collars for impeccable wear; fitted sleeves to enhance the look; and an ideal proportion of stretch which offers total freedom of movement.
A DISCREET EMBROIDERY
Discretion and refinement are embodied by our Monarch butterfly embroidery, made with Madeira thread for a subtle and elegant tone-on-tone rendering.
RIGHT PRICE, REAL VALUE
At Monarque, every euro spent is invested directly into the product. We are committed to offering premium clothing by eliminating all unnecessary items.
To maintain this ethic, we have opted for a fair delivery policy. Transport is charged at a reasonable rate of €6 (metropolitan France).
We have decided not to offer free returns and exchanges - a practice that, while appealing, often hides additional costs that are passed on to the sale price. More importantly, this practice encourages excessive consumption, with a considerable impact on the environment.
At Monarque, we prefer to promote responsible consumption. This is why, in the event of a return, you will receive a voucher for the value of the shipping costs, affirming our commitment to customer satisfaction while maintaining an eco-responsible approach.
OUR VALUES
FREEDOM
At Monarque, we believe that our clothing influences our state of mind and our performance. Our pieces are designed to offer complete freedom of movement, allowing everyone to feel comfortable and confident, whatever the occasion.
INNOVATION
In a world of constant change, we have developed new materials that merge the excellence and finesse of Pima cotton with the prowess of textile technologies to offer a range that defies categories: as efficient as it is elegant.
TRANSPARENCY
Transparency isn’t just a choice; it’s a commitment. We prioritize honesty and accountability because we believe you have the right to know where your garment comes from, how it was made, and by whom. It’s this clarity that builds trust.
TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE FASHION
More than a brand, we have a vision: to integrate sustainability into every step of our creation. This is why we are working with our partner RT Knits, a pioneer in the high-end textile sector in Mauritius. RT Knits stands out as the first company in the Indian Ocean to align its carbon neutrality ambitions with the requirements of the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) for 2040, a major milestone towards a more respectful future.
Our commitment is clear: to create fashion that respects both people and the environment, for a more sustainable future. Together, we are committed to a certified approach:
- OEKO TEX STANDARD 100 Certification : Guarantees that products do not contain harmful substances, thus ensuring consumer safety.
- ICS (Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability) : Recognized in France, this certification highlights the social compliance and sustainability of the factory, meeting the expectations of consumers aware of social issues.
- HIGG Index : With a score of 92, well above the global average, this certification highlights the factory's excellence in environmental practices, including water, energy, and waste management.
